"DJ Patrick Harvard (LA - Burning Man) - spinning funky world beats and breaks"
7:30PM - 9:00 PM
DJ Patrick Harvard
Since founding the Southern California Dance Collective in 1999, DJ Patrick Harvard has been spinning music at world dance festivals and underground dance events for many years. You may have heard him playing, at last year’s "Dances of Ecstasy" in the El Rey Theatre. If you attended Burningman this year, you might have caught him DJing the Hookadome’s Fire Spin Jam for a crowd of thousands. DJ Patrick’s musical defies categories. Unlike most DJs, who stick to one style of music, this genre crossing beat-master searches far and wide for the most compelling dance tracks on the planet. His grooves will inspire your body and your spirit to move in exciting and unexpected ways. His sets generally include a mixture of Breaks, Funk, Hip-Hop, House and Trance. Expect to hear Asian, Arabic, African and Tribal Beats spicing up his wickedly funky, booty bumpin dance mixes. Recently, Patrick has spun on the same stages as Cheb I Sabbah, Karsh Kale, Lorin Bassnectar, Freq Nasty, David Starfire, Oscure, Patricio, The Space Cowboys, Janaka Selecta, Haji, Soulsalaam, Adam Ohana, DJ Dragonfly, Rhythmystic and Jason Bentley.
